Tell
us a little bit about your background and how you came to
work as a coach and healer
I
was born and raised in New Zealand. My family was
interested in spirituality and I had the opportunity to
learn Yoga from the age of six, which helped instil in me,
a sense of connection to a greater whole. As a child the
idea of a universal life force
and
healing energy appeared
self evident and I felt naturally inclined to practise
healing on my pets when they were ill. Later as my
healing interest began to focus more on other people I
followed my great desire to explore other cultures.
After extensive travels I eventually arrived in my
second home, this country. Once here I formalised my
training in Healing and Counselling and entered a
Diploma course at Holistic Healing College. I am now
based and practise in SW London.
You
incorporate a number of skills in your practise, you
obviously belief in an eclectic approach
After
meeting and connecting with a client I tune in to that
persons energy, personality and current circumstances. We
are more than just bodies with physical or emotional
symptoms.
At a deeper level the various issues or unfulfilled desires
my clients present with, can be traced back to blockages in
their energetic field – a loss of purpose, limiting
beliefs or restricted habit patterns we can all fall into.
Through my work and training I have discovered that
different people respond better to different techniques and
overtime I have honed my intuitive sense of which is the
best way to work with each individual.
So
who are your clients?
All
sorts of people. Most of us experience stages and phases in
life when we can benefit from extra support, encouragement
and healing. It is also common to experience different
levels of health and energy and want to change certain
patterns before they get out of control or deteriorate
further.
I also come across an increasing number of people who are
searching for a greater sense of purpose and are opening to
the spiritual aspect of life.
